Please see the information below on the different camps Manly Warringah Basketball runs every school holiday or programs that on offer during each term. We try to provide a variety of developmental programs to help develop players of all ability and ages.

2021 PROGRAMS
Saturday Learn to Play is a development program for beginners to intermediate players, ages between 5 to 12 years old, boys & girls. The program is for players who want to learn the skills for basketball in order to play competition. It is run by MWBA coaches that have years of experience and knowledge in order to make the participant a better player.
Please note due to covid, Saturday Learn To Play has no spectators. Parents will be allowed to escort their child into the venue and then walk directly back out.
Saturday Learn to Play run on Saturday. Players are broken up in to age and ability and is structured around the skills appropriate for that age group.
Time:
- 5 to 12 years: 2:30 to 3:20 pm
- Term 2 Dates: Saturday 24th April to 19th June, 2021 ( 9 weeks)
- Term 3 Dates: Saturday 24th July to 18th September, 2021(9 weeks)
- Limited number due to Covid restrictions
Saturday Learn to Play runs out of Manly Warringah Basketballs home ground, the Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre, Jacksons Road, Warriewood, NSW.
Saturday Learn to play is $100 for 9 weeks for 50 minute per session. Payment is made online through Trybooking. Only pre-booked participants will be allowed into the stadium. Booking closes the 12pm Friday prior to session date.
- Please bring a water bottle with a name and mobile number clearly marked on it.
- Do not bring a ball as MWBA will provide a sanitised ball for the session.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and non-marking runners.
MWBA Academy is for players that are aspiring to make it into representative basketball or trying to better their game. This is an intensive program that requires players to have a good knowledge of basketball. The program is run by Manly Representative coach Steve Shortland who has a wealth of knowledge and experience behind him. MWBA Academy has proven results over the year of players making it into the Manly Representative teams.
MWBA runs during the school term and runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday according to grading levels. Booking is essential NO WALK INS.

MWBA Academy is run at the Narrabeen Sports High School, 10 Namona St, North Narrabeen NSW 2101. This venue provides the perfect set up due to the numerous rings located around the court, eliminating participants standing around waiting for equipment.
Please note:
-No parking on school premises, you will be locked in.
-Parents are expected to drop and leave the gym. There is no spectators.
-Please do not walk around the school grounds.
MWBA Academy program runs for the school term.
Cost:$150 (9 weeks)
Due to Covid-19 we can no longer have weekly bookings.
Active Kids Vouchers welcome. Please email your voucher to mwba@manlybasketball with your childs voucher. Please supply your childs DOB so the voucher can be processed. MWBA we then send you back a promotion code which will reduce the fee by $100 at the payment window.

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official introductory program for 5-10 year old. Aussie Hoops is a national program which provides an environment where children of all abilities can achieve on the court and reap the rewards of skill development, enhanced self-esteem, social co-operation and grassroots sports participation. Aussie Hoops is all about participation and fun.
Please note due to Covid NBISC regulations prevent us from having spectators in the facility for our programs. MWBA will allow parents to escort their child in and then leave directly.
Aussie Hoops is a 8 week program that runs on Sunday for one hour.
Time:9:00 to 10:00 am
Term 2 Dates:2nd May to 20th June, 2021
Term 3 Dates:25th July to 12th September, 2021

MWBA Academy is a 8 week program
Cost for a new participant is $160 or $110 for returning participant.

- Sticker Sheet – Featuring all 8 of the Womens National Basketball League (WNBL) teams.

Pink Ball is a girl’s only development program runs by the school term and is led by MWBA Representative female coaches. It is the ideal place for girls to learn the skills necessary to play the game, with participants their own age. Open to the first 40 girls who register between the ages of 7 to 12 years. The girls are broken up into small groups and are placed with their friends.
Due to Covid, NBISC regulations is NO SPECTATORS during our programs. MWBA will allow you to walk your child in but you will then be asked to leave.
Pink Ball is a 8 week program that runs on Saturdays and is a one hour sessions.
Time:1:20 to 2:20 pm
Term 2 Dates: 1st May to 19th June, 2021
Term 3 Dates: 24th July to 11th September, 2021

$100 for 8 week Program. The cost includes a pink basketball.

Sunday Veterans is for mostly over 35’s ,who enjoy a casual pick up game to keep fit and social.
Sunday Veterans runs every Sunday. You can book for 11 sessions(Pay for 10 and get 1 session free) or by the week.
Time:7:30 to 8:50am
11 week Session date: 25th July to 26th Sepetember, 2021

$50 for 11 weeks Program or pay by the week($5 Pr/wk). No cash and pre-booking essential.
This Program has kindly recieved a grant from BNSW to cover 50% of the cost for this term.
- Please bring a water bottle. Water station is currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
- Please bring own sweat towel.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and non-marking runners.
2021 CAMPS
MWBA Holiday Camp: This camp is suitable for kids between the ages of 5 to 14 years old; boys and girls who would like to improve their skills in a fun environment. Run by professional coaches, the kids are taught various basketball skills and are put through their paces to see what they have learnt, with prizes up for grabs. Broken up into small groups and placed with friends to ensure fun is had by all the MWBA Holiday Camp is a great opportunity to introduce kids to the love of basketball.
MWBA Holiday Camps will run for 3 hrs per day for 3 days. Single day tickets are not available. Tickets must be purchased online. NO DROP INS.
Time: Ages 5-9 years old:9:00-12:00 pm. (Doors open at 8:30 am)
Ages 10-14 years old:1:00-4 pm. (Doors open at 12:30 pm)
Date:7,8,9th July, 2021 (no single days, 3 days program only)
MWBA Holiday camps are run at the home of Manly Warringah Basketball, Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre, Jackson Road, Warriewood, NSW.
It is a 6 court, indoor facility so the camp runs regardless of the weather conditions outdoor.
MWBA Holiday camps are a 3 days, 3 hour per day. Prizes are also given to participants who win the various competitions that are played on the final day.
Cost: $105 per participant for 3 days.
- Please bring a light snack and water bottle with name clearly marked. Please note MWBA camps are a nut free zone.
- Balls will be provide for the camp & remains the property of MWBA. No balls will be permitted into the stadium due to Covid-19 restrictions
- Please wear comfortable clothing and non-marking runners. No watches or jewelry should be worn to prevent injuries. No long nails.
Please note NBISC regulations prevent MWBA from having spectators, MWBA will allow parents to walk their child in but then they will be asked to leave.
Bounce Camp: This camp is available during the school holiday period and is suitable for players that have been playing basketball and want to improve their skill, taking it to the next level. This is for players who don’t mind working hard and being pushed to bring out their best abilities. This camp is ideal for players that have playing experience and are 12 to 16 years old.
The Bounce Camps runs for two days, four hours per day. Participants can attend one or two days.
Time: 10 to 2 pm. (Doors open at 9:30 pm)
Dates: 1st & 2nd July, 2021
Bounce camps are run at the home of Manly Warringah Basketball, Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre, Jackson Road, Warriewood, NSW.
It is a 6 court, indoor facility so the camp runs regardless of the weather conditions outdoor.
Cost: $55 per participant per day
or
$90 for 2 days.
- Please bring a clearly labeled water bottle and sweat towel.
- Please bring a clearly labeled ball. The ball will be sanitised on entry to camp.
- Please wear comfortable clothing and non-marking runners. No watches or jewellery should be worn to prevent injuries. No long nails.
Representative Camp: Open to current 2021 Manly Representative squad players only. This camp is design to focus on specialised skills based on their age groups. The players will be broken up into ages and gender and be pushed to improve their skills in order to achieve results in the representative season. MWBA Representative players are expected to attend these camps unless they have valid reasons.

Bounce camps are run at the home of Manly Warringah Basketball, Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre, Jackson Road, Warriewood, NSW.
It is a 6 court, indoor facility so the camp runs regardless of the weather conditions outdoor.

- Please bring a clearly labeled water bottle, sweat towel and food for the day. Please note MWBA camps are a nut free zone.
- Please bring a clearly labeled ball. Balls will be sanitised on entry to the stadium.
- Please wear MWBA reversible singlet and comfortable shorts. No watches or jewelry should be worn to prevent injuries.
Rep Ready Camp: Designed for representative and aspiring representative players that are skilled in the game of basketball and would like to work on their skills to achieve the next level before Rep Trials. This camp is designed for players that have 2 or more years of playing experience and can keep up with the high level of skills they will be working on. Players 10 years and older, boys and girls.

Dates: 1st & 2nd October, 2020
Time: 10 am to 3pm
Intensive camps are run at the home of Manly Warringah Basketball, Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre, Jackson Road, Warriewood, NSW.
It is a 6 court, indoor facility so the camp runs regardless of the weather conditions outdoor.
Cost: $81 for 1 day or 2 days for $137
